Apple Cinnamon Flapjacks

If you follow me on Instagram (@Daniellas_plate) you will know how obsessed I have been with apple cinnamon oats! Well, it was weekend time, which calls for flapjacks. I had a great idea of combining my love for flapjacks and apple! This recipe is one of my favourites, next to my banana flapjacks

I can't remember exactly how many flapjacks this recipe made, because I am a bad blogger and forgot to take note, I probably also ate a lot while making them (if you don't do this then you're lying). This recipe should make enough for 2-3 people, depending on how hungry you are. You can put leftovers in a freezer bag and pop them in the freezer. When you want them again, just pull them out and pop them in the toaster and enjoy!

I topped the pancakes with apples (that were cooked with some cinnamon, coconut sugar, and either a bit of water or coconut oil) and some sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

Ingredients:

- 1 Apple
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 cup Plant-based milk
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Flaxseeds
- 1 scoop Protein powder (optional: I used the Vanilla flavour from Wazoogles)
- 4 Tbsp Applesauce
- 1 tsp Cinnamon

Method:

1. Roughly chop up the apple and place it into a blender along with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until a smooth batter is formed.
2. Pour the desired amount of batter on to a warm pan (medium heat).
3. Wait for some bubbles to form and then flip the flapjack.
4. Continue with the rest of the batter.
5. When all are complete, stack them up, top them with delicious goodies and enjoy!
