Vegan Flapjacks


These flapjacks have been a staple of mine for quite some time now, I usually change it up between this and my waffle recipe. This recipe is so simple, with very few ingredients, and is so easy to make! I usually use this recipe as my 'base' and I add whatever flavours I feel like into it, for example, chocolate or chocolate chip.


Ingredients:

- 1 cup Flour
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1.5 Tbsp Baking powder
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1-2 Tbsp Protein powder of choice (optional for a higher protein version)

Method:

1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Add the wet ingredients and mix well until there are no lumps.
3. Place 2-3 Tbsp of batter onto a hot non-stick or well-greased pan. Cook until it forms bubbles and then flip them over until they are slightly golden brown on each side.
