Vegan Sausage Rolls
These vegan sausage rolls are perfect for a snack at a party or even at a picnic. They are so quick and easy to make, a perfect recipe for all! I stumbled upon making these when I didn't really enjoy the sausages on their own and wanted to try something different. I would recommend having them with some tomato sauce or sweet chili sauce.
Ingredients:
- A roll of puff pastry*
- A pack of Vegan sausages **
- 2 Tbsp plant milk
- Sesame seeds (optional)
- Flour
*I bought mine from Woolworths
** I used a mixture of both Braai-Style and Original Hot Dogs
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
2. Sprinkle the surface with some flour and roll out the puff pastry.
3. Place a sausage on the pastry, cut the pastry so that there is enough to go around the whole sausage. 4. Close the ends of the pastries with a fork by pushing it closed.
5. Brush some milk onto the pastry and if you want to add sesame seeds then add on after the milk.
6. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes or when the pastry is golden brown.
